    • Operational Security (OPSEC) protocols to prevent counter-reconnaissance and attribution by targets.

    • Advanced search operators and hidden database extraction techniques.

  • Session 2: Identifying, Analysing, and Tracking Targets Anonymously

    • Methods for uncovering hidden identities across social media, forums, and the dark web.

    • Analysing target networks, relationships, and online behaviours without alerting the subject.

    • Automating target monitoring using open-source alert systems and scrapers.

  • Session 3: Practical Lab – Initial Target Triage

    • Hands-on Workshop: Students will be given a minimal digital lead and must safely build out a comprehensive target profile using the custom tools provided.

Day 2: Geolocation, Tracking, and Advanced Software Integration

  • Session 4: Advanced Geolocation Techniques

    • Extracting and analysing EXIF data and metadata from imagery and files.

    • Image and video verification: Identifying exact physical locations using satellite imagery, architectural clues, weather patterns, and landmarks.

    • Utilising open-source mapping tools, IP geolocation datasets, and wireless network mapping (Wi-Fi positioning system tracking).

  • Session 5: OSINT Tool Deployment & Rigorous Result Analysis

    • Deploying automated collection tools (e.g., Maltego, SpiderFoot, and custom command-line scrapers) to gather large-scale intelligence.

    • Data sanitisation and triage: Filtering out false positives, verifying automated discoveries, and assessing source credibility.

    • Advanced analysis methodologies: Transforming raw, disparate data points into structured, actionable intelligence reports.

  • Session 6: Digital Footprint Tracking & Pattern Analysis

    • Tracking domain ownership, historical website changes, and interconnected digital infrastructure.

    • Analysing breached data repositories legally and ethically to find historical target footprints.

    • Chronological timeline mapping of a target's physical and digital movements.

  • Session 7: Capstone Live Investigation & Resource Deployment

    • Interactive Workshop: A real-time, simulated tracking operation requiring students to deploy OSINT tools, critically analyse the resulting data, and combine geolocation techniques under time constraints.
